BOCASTRIA, an Austin Latin rock and Tejano fusion group, is steadily gaining wide recognition as a top Latin band. Fronted by two harmonious sisters, Tanya Martinez and Maddie Briones, the band has made several television appearances including Austin’s ABC affiliate, the Fox 7 Morning Show in Austin, ME Television and Primetime Tejano. Austinist.com has dubbed Bocastria “Austin’s Firecrackers,” and Mayor Will Wynn and the City of Austin named May 17th “Bocastria Day.” They are currently working on their new studio effort and hope to release it this summer.
